Joseph Joseph LockBlock - Childproof, Self-Locking Knife Block

This cool new Joseph Joseph LockBlock is a childproof, self-locking knife block with 6 high quality kitchen knives made from Japanese stainless steel. Once a knife is inserted into the color-coded slot, a unique cam-lock mechanism grips and locks the knife in place. Trying to simply pull on a knife just tightens the force of the grip even more. To release a knife, only an adult-sized hand with sufficient force will be able to press the non-obvious buttons on either side of the block. The self-locking knife block includes: 3.5" Paring knife, 5" Utility knife, 7" Santoku knife, 8" Chef's knife, 8" Bread knife, and a 8" Carving knife. It's definitely a much safer alternative to a drawer full of blades with a flimsy child lock.
