The cool new Cardboard Home Cinema replicates a darkened movie theater experience, minus all the texting, talking, sticky floors, and selfies, right in the comfort of your home simply by lying down and placing it over your head. Just assemble the rugged cardboard pieces, place your favorite tablet or smartphone on the height adjustable top, and slide in the cardboard fake audience insert to complete the cinematic effect. Sure, you'll probably look a bit silly lying on your back with a cardboard box over your head (it has air holes!) and munching on popcorn won't be as easy, but until true VR goggles become more mainstream, this is a fun and much, much cheaper alternative.
