LEGO Star Wars AT-ST Imperial Scout Walker - 1,513 Pieces!
One of the cooler vehicles in Return of the Jedi, the last good(ish) Star Wars movie (hey, I loved it when I was 6), was the All-Terrain Scout Transport AKA the AT-ST Imperial Scout Walker AKA the Chicken Walker. This menacing thing rampaging across the forest moon of Endor on two legs blasting every vicious, man-eating Ewok in sight was awesome... well, until it was easily defeated by those same savage teddy bears. Well, now you can remember the good old days of Stars Wars, before the Dark Side, before Disney, as you assemble this cool new yet from a long time ago-inspired LEGO Star Wars AT-ST Imperial Scout Walker.
This large-scale LEGO Ultimate Collector Series model of the AT-ST Walker consists of 1,513 pieces and stands over 14.5-inches on its tall legs. It features a rotating head, a detailed 2-person cockpit, a top hatch that opens up, adjustable laser cannons, and working viewport shutters. It also includes an informational plaque about the vehicle and AT-ST driver minifigure. Unfortunately, it doesn't include any Ewoks to blast away at.
It obviously makes a great gift for any Star Wars fan, but I just want one for myself to take out in the backyard to recreate the AT-ST's head getting smashed between two giant swinging logs dropped by pesky Ewoks. My original Kenner AT-ST toy didn't quite survive this when I was a kid, but with LEGOs, it's easy enough to repair.
