Yuneec E-GO - Electric Skateboard / Personal Transporter
It's 2015 and skateboards still aren't hovering, but they have gone electric. The cool new Yuneec E-GO is a futuristic electric skateboard / personal transporter that's controlled via a free smartphone app or the included mechanical slide controller. Just slide your finger up or down on the app to either accelerate to speeds up 12.5 mph at 10% inclines or slow down and come to a stop. This flexible high tech board uses a 400-watt brushless electric motor powered by a rechargeable lithium Ion battery to travel up to 18 miles or about 3 hours riding time on a single charge and even uses regenerative braking to help recharge the battery when slowing down. I'm not sure how good it would be pulling crazy tricks with, but it'll definitely get you around town without much effort. Check out the video below to see it in action. Cool huh?
