Gigantic Universal Monsters Frankenstein's Monster Animatronic Statue
"He's alive! Alive!!" While not the scariest horror movie ever made, by today's standards, the original Frankenstein holds up as a spooky old black-and-white monster flick to watch during the Halloween season, especially on a clichΓ©d dark and stormy night. Well, now you can have your very own monster to watch horror movies with and terrify the trick-or-treaters at the same time, without the need to have your goofy humpbacked lab assistant dig up corpses and steal an abnormal brain, with this cool new yet quite 1931-inspired Universal Monsters Frankenstein's Monster Animatronic Statue from Spirit Halloween.
This life-sized animatronic statue of Frankenstein's monster, whose name really should just be Frankenstein Frankenstein so we can just call him Frankenstein, is one of the better reproductions I've seen. Once old Frank Frankenstein detects motion, his torso leans forward, his chained arms reach out, and he screams, groans, and growls as rattling and electronic buzzing sound effects play in the background. While not reanimated in classic black and white, this colorized version of Frank has green skin, matted jet-black hair, blood-red eyes, and a stylish suit jacket with high-rise boots. Hmm, a bolt of lightning is not included, but you can simply plug him in to bring him to life instead. Bride of Frankenstein sold separately. π±
