Single Cheese-Like Chocolate Slices from Japan
Like American cheese singles, these cool new Raw Chocolate Slices from Bourbon in Japan are decadent semi-soft raw chocolate slices that can be placed on foods, rolled up, wrapped, or even cut into shapes. Just peel off the film like a cheese single and put it on bread or toast, pancakes, French toast, omelets, waffles, ice cream, crêpes, s'mores, bananas, dessert rolls, cakes, or anything else your sweet tooth desires. You can also use small cookie cutters on them to create fun shapes or slice them into ribbons for decorative desserts. They seem to only be available in Japan at this time and need to stay refrigerated, but our Japanese visitors or anyone traveling there soon are in for a treat. Hmm, now I kind of want to try making a grilled cheese and chocolate sandwich just out of curiosity... 🍫🧀
