This cool new Organic Oyster Mushroom Growing Log Kit from Howard Berk and Todd Pittard allows one to grow velvety oyster mushrooms at home with ease. Just soak this log that is handmade from recently felled aspen and poplar trees with organic oyster mushroom spores planted inside and then place it in a damp, cool, dark spot until the mushrooms begin to grow along the sides. It can be re-soaked and re-harvested every six weeks for up to three years. Try it yourself or give it as a truly unique gift to any mushroom lover.
