Hobbes : "Do you think there's a God?

Calvin : "Well somebody's out to get me!"

To me, Calvin and Hobbes was the greatest comic strip ever and when Bill Watterson retired the characters on January 1, 1996, the daily comics simply never were the same. Fortunately, Calvin and Hobbes has lived on in 17 book collections, but trying to hang onto all of those books and maintain the softcovers was nearly impossible. Thankfully, a solution is coming!

Andrews McMeel Publishing has announced that on September 1, 2005, The Complete Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson will be published, comprising the entire body of Calvin and Hobbes cartoons. Every Calvin and Hobbes comic strip ever, will live again in three hardcover, four-color volumes in a sturdy slipcase.

If you're a big fan like me, owning the ultimate collector's edition of Calvin and Hobbes for less than purchasing all the old books separately is an incredible deal and I can't wait.
