Massive LEGO Death Star - 9,023 Pieces!
While not quite as big as a small moon, this cool new yet from a long time ago-inspired LEGO Death Star is a colossal 9,023-piece LEGO model of a cross-section of the dreaded Death Star. Currently, this is the largest LEGO Star Wars model to date that combines all the best elements of the first Death Star from A New Hope and the Death Star II from Return of the Jedi, all in a single monumental sectional slice.
This buildable technological terror features the devastating SuperLaser, the Emperor's throne room, a working trash compactor, Princess Leia's holding cell, the tractor beam controls, the hangar control room, a hangar bay with a giant Imperial Shuttle, the retractable bridge to swing across, the conference room, a functional elevator, and so much more. It even includes 38 Star Wars minifigures to populate it and let you recreate your favorite scenes. Yep, there's even a little Mouse Droid in there.
Hmm, even though this would be quite a challenge to fully assemble, I would still be so tempted to crash the LEGO Super Star Destroyer into the side of it and then smash it all on the floor to pretend that the Rebel terrorists blew it up again... creating an even more difficult challenge to sort it all out and rebuild once again. No matter how old you are, LEGOs are just fun.
