Way, way back in 2004, we reported on these strange square and pyramid-shaped watermelons showing up in Japan. Well, now you can easily grow one of your very own as well with these cool new Heart or Square-Shaped Watermelon Molds... the pyramid mold must be out there somewhere too. To use, start growing a little baby watermelon, attach this transparent mold around it, wait for the harvest to pick it, and, Voila!, a square or heart-shaped watermelon pops out that will no longer roll away from you. I bet these molds could be used to experiment with and make other unique-shaped things too, like a square pumpkin!
