KFCereal - Savory KFC-Flavored Cereal with 11 Herbs and Spices
If you happen to live in the United Kingdom, love Kentucky Fried Chicken and breakfast cereals, and are way into extreme amounts of protein in everything, then skip the drive-thru at your local KFC and dig into this cool new KFCereal from Surreal in the UK instead.
Yep, this savory, KFC-flavored breakfast (or dinner) cereal combines crunchy hoops, rings, loops, or "O"s (not sure here) with the Colonel's famous blend of 11 herbs and spices, and you can safely eat it with KFC gravy instead of milk. Seriously. It's also jam-packed with 19 grams of protein per serving and only 1 gram of sugar, so I guess it's sort of healthy(ish) to consume, well, at least before drowning it in fast food-grade gravy. I can't decide if this is the most disgusting cereal I've ever heard of or the greatest, but I admit that I am intrigued enough to try it, even with gravy.
Now, as weird as this already is, I have bigger questions about this fast food, fried chicken-inspired cereal. Why are there no fried chicken-shaped and -flavored marshmallows or maybe even some freeze-dried sweet corn kernels in there? Instead of buying KFC gravy separately, why not add powdered brown gravy to the crunchy "O"s so all you need is water? Why does this come in a cereal box instead of a classic KFC fried chicken bucket? And why is this only available online and not in an actual KFC restaurant, which has the actual gravy you will need?
