Electric DeLorean
Marty McFly: Wait a minute, Doc. Ah... Are you telling me that you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean?
Dr. Emmett Brown: The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
Doc Brown's DeLorean time machine may have required a Flux Capacitor and 1.21 gigawatts of power to propel it back to the future, forward to the past or whenever in time, but this cool new Electric DeLorean made by the DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) in association with Epic EV simply plugs into a standard electrical outlet - no Mr. Fusion or Plutonium required.
This retro modern upgrade of the DeLorean doesn't actually travel through time and unfortunately still needs roads, but its timeless design will definitely take you back to the 1980s. It retains the unique pop-up gull wing doors and the stainless steel body, but it's now powered by a 21st century 260 horsepower electric motor that flings it from 0-60 in just 4.9 seconds. You'll easily reach 88 mph with its 125 mph top speed, but you'll be able to travel 100 miles before needing 3.5 hour recharge or a well-timed lighting strike.
Like any electric car, it's super pricey, but at least this one will cause people to shout "Great Scott!" as you drive around a mall's parking lot. Hoverboard not included.
