The Burning Bookmark is the creative and ironic way to keep your place while reading some of the top banned book picks from the American Library Association's annual Banned Books Week (September 27 - October 4). This cool flexible plastic flame placeholder makes it nearly impossible to lose your spot when sneaking away to read something deemed too harmful and inappropriate for, well, everyone. It also works just fine on non-banned books as well.

As for banning books and censoring, why don't they just implement some kind of simple ratings system with content guidelines for parents instead? This is done for all other kinds of media. Why is a book different than a movie, tv show or video game?
