Giant BIC Cristal Ballpoint Pen Lamp
Whenever I need a pen, I always pull a blue ink pen from the drawer. I have never bought a blue ink pen in my life, yet somehow one always shows up when I need a normal black ink pen. It's similar to how when you need a Phillips screwdriver and all you can find are flathead screwdrivers and vice-versa. Well, anyways, now the pen situation just got even more confusing with this cool new Giant BIC Pen Lamp from Seletti and Italian designer Mario Paroli.
This double-take-inducing floor, wall, or hanging pendant lamp looks just like a giant 12:1 scale BIC Cristal disposable ballpoint pen that is nearly 6 feet long. It features a classic non-chewed-on pen cap that somehow never got lost on one end and bright internal LED illumination that replaces the ink-filled stem in the center. Just like a classic BIC Cristal ballpoint pen, this one is also designed not to leak or clog, but don't expect it to write anything if you happen to be an actual giant looking for a pen. Hmm, It's also much, much harder to lose it. It comes in black (yay!), blue (for real estate agencies and banks), or red (for editors and teachers). ποΈπ‘
