LEGO Family Christmas Tree and Holiday Express Train Set
This holiday season, step away from the hustle and bustle and relax with a glass of milk, a plate of Christmas cookies, and some free time to assemble this cool new LEGO Family Christmas Tree and LEGO Holiday Express Train. These festive LEGO building sets let you assemble a huge 3,171-piece Christmas tree centerpiece that houses Santa's Workshop inside its branches and a 956-piece model train with a circular track that you can build around the tree (both are sold separately).
The LEGO Family Christmas Tree has hinged panels that open to reveal 4 hidden rooms: a kitchen, Santa's workshop, a canteen, and a game room for the overworked elves to take a break in. The base of the tree has a miniature train track display that circles around with a simple twist of a knob. It also includes Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus (who doesn't seem to have a first name), a brick-built Cataclaws, 5 elves, a sleigh, a reindeer, and even a snowman. In the off-season, the tree also separates for compact storage... or just smash it on the ground and return the pieces to the box to re-assemble it next year all over again.
The LEGO Holiday Express Train features a steam locomotive with a bobbing smokestack and a bell-ringing polar bear pulling a coal tender, a flatcar, and an end car around a 16-piece circular track. The train can be pushed around the track manually or be motorized using the optional LEGO Powered Up Kit (sold separately). It also includes a train station platform with a lamppost and bench, 4 minifigures, some mini toy builds, and the first-ever 3D-printed LEGO piece.
