Today (4/26) is ALIEN Day, a sort of made up yearly holiday celebrating the ALIEN movie franchise. Why is it on 4/26? Because of LV-426, the nightmarish moon in the Zeta 2 Reticuli system where the crew of the Nostromo decided to check out a warning signal being broadcast from an ancient derelict spaceship. So grab all your horror / sci-fi movie-loving friends (even if they're androids), pop on one of the ALIEN flicks, and pour some drinks chilled down with ice cubes shaped like an ALIEN Xenomorph Head or an ALIEN Egg Pod from Kotobukiya. Yep, these silicone ice trays let you freeze water into the shape of the iconic elongated, double-mouthed, and quite drool-drenched head of a Xenomorph or the Ovomorph, the egg pod that launches Facehuggers at you.
