I think my original Optimus Prime Transformer action figure is still buried somewhere in my parent's backyard after it got into an epic battle with all the Decepticons, G.I. Joe, Star Wars, and He-Man action figures... and quite a few packs of firecrackers. Yep, everything was way more fun in the 1980s for kids. Well, now you can relive those glory days too when you try to assemble (and roll out) this cool new yet quite retro LEGO Transformers Optimus Prime G1. If you can ever figure out how to put it together, this impressive 1508 piece LEGO model of the G1 version of Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, actually transforms from a truck into a robotic life form from Cybertron. He features 19 points of articulation in robot mode and includes the Autobot Matrix of Leadership stored in his chest, an attachable jetpack, Ion blaster, Energon Cube, Energon axe, and display plaque. Hmm, hopefully Megatron and Starscream don't show up and make it much harder to find all of LEGO Optimus Prime's pieces scattered all over the lawn after a new toy war breaks out.
