The cool new Plopp from designer Oskar Zieta is a stunning, toylike stool that may appear at first glance to be inflatable balloon-shaped furniture, but it's actually crafted using an innovative method where two ultra-thin steel sheets are welded together and then industrially inflated under high pressure. The result is a complex, lightweight sculptural stool that can bear your weight, last a lifetime, and cause endless double-takes.
