APOLLO 11 Table
As of this writing, it has been over 50 years since we stepped on the face of the moon and it looks like NASA will finally be sending astronauts back in 2024 with the Artemis program. That's a big gap. Well, if you just can't get enough of the moon by having to look up at it every night, wondering why we haven't gone back in so long, then you might really enjoy gazing upon this cool new APOLLO 11 Table from French design studio Harow. This extremely limited edition table / work of art recreates a small section of the moon's topography in very fine, intricate detail upon a fiberglass slab that is covered with a thick layer of clear resin, which helps to create stunning shadow effects across the lunar surface. It all rests upon legs supported by brass and aluminum alloy feet based on the landing pads of the Apollo 11 Lunar Excursion Module. There's no price listed, so expect it to be, ahem, out of this world. Very cool though.
