Kwikset Kevo - Smart Deadbolt
I hate fumbling around or looking for my keys, but it's now the 21st century and opening doors with these ancient things is finally a thing of the past. The cool new Kwikset Kevo is a highly secure, smart deadbolt that locks or unlocks a door with a simple touch of your finger when it detects your iPhone or included key fob is within range. Besides being able to easily unlock the door with an armful of groceries, the smartphone app allows you to create and send temporary eKeys to friends, family, service providers, etc. who also have the app installed - a notification is sent to your iPhone whenever it's activated (great to know your kids are home safe). Another cool feature is that you can quickly change your locks with ease whenever you want using SmartKey re-key technology. If for some reason, you don't have your iPhone or key fob, a traditional key can also be used to gain entry.
