It's hard to believe that not too long ago, we hauled up drinking water from a hole in the ground using a rope and bucket. Maybe some still do this, but today these old wells are more for tossing in coins for luck than anything. Well, some of those old wooden well buckets have survived and have been reclaimed for use as rusticly stylish holders for your magazines (soon to be lost to history too), dried flowers, yarn, firewood, toilet paper rolls or whatever you'd like to put in them. Makes a unique gift or antique accent for any home.
