I'm surprised no one thought of this before, but black and white chess pieces make great salt and pepper shakers as you can see with these cool new Checkmates - Salt And Pepper Shakers. These ceramic pieces come in a matching set that includes a White Queen for the salt and a Black King for the pepper. It's nice to see both sides of the seasoning war finally getting along together.
