Royal VKB Garlic Crusher
The cool new Royal VKB Garlic Crusher from Dutch designer Ineke Hans is an innovative new way to quickly and easily pulverize garlic cloves with a simple roll. Crushing garlic releases the natural oils in the clove that results in an intense and superior flavor.
To use, take the heavy stainless steel Garlic Crusher, crush the garlic clove with the flat end first and remove the outer skin. Now roll it over the crushed clove like a rolling pin and the serrated edges will effectively crush and mince the garlic. When done, simply wash your hands with it like it was a bar of soap and the 18/10 stainless steel will magically remove any garlic odor from your hands and fingertips (this actually works well).
This is so much easier to use and clean than those awkward hinged garlic presses and safer, quicker than using a chopping knife and can also be used for ginger, walnuts and whatever else needs a good crushing in your kitchen. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves to cook.
