LEGO Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D - 3,600 Pieces!
LEGO is about to go where no LEGO model has gone before with this cool new yet quite retro, er, 24th century-inspired LEGO Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. This massive 3,600-piece LEGO model kit lets you assemble a nearly 2 ft long replica of the Federation's flagship galaxy-class starship, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D.
It features a detachable command saucer so you can pretend to engage enemies from the battle bridge of the secondary hull with the sleek rounded warp nacelles, has an openable shuttlebay with 2 mini shuttlepods, and it includes an angled display stand with a schematic and ship statistics so you can proudly show it off. It also includes 9 minifigures with themed accessories: Captain Jean-Luc Picard with a teacup (Earl Grey, hot), Commander William Riker with his trombone, Lieutenant Worf with a phaser, Lieutenant Commander Data with his cat Spot, Dr. Beverly Crusher with a tricorder, Lieutenant Commander La Forge with an engineering case, Counselor Deanna Troi with a PADD, bartender Guinan with a bottle of Romulan Ale, and Wesley Crusher with a portable tractor beam generator.
For an even bigger challenge, once you complete assembly of the ship, recreate the warp core breach from Star Trek: Generations (btw, I love the NEXUS), separate the saucer, drop the secondary hull to simulate a massive explosion, throw the saucer out into your backyard to crash land it on "Veridian III", and then try to reassemble it so you can triumphantly reveal it, fully restored, once again just like in Star Trek: Picard season 3, the only good season. Hmm, hopefully they'll make a massively scaled-up SpacePort or BORG cube next. Q not included. π
