This cool new Bismuth Maglev Sculpture from Element83 (which just happens to be bismuth) is a stunning kinetic art sculpture handcrafted from a solid chunk of bismuth ingot that showcases a neodymium magnet levitating in a central crevice. Bismuth is a diamagnetic element, which means that it naturally repels both the north and south poles of magnets equally, and when combined with a strong neodymium magnet at the top of the sculpture, the central magnet cube between the crystals will more or less float there forever. Perfect for staring at on your desk while bored at work (blow on the magnet with a straw to get it spinning) or just display it in your home as a decorative piece of sculptural science.
