BeepEgg - Singing and Floating Egg Timer

The cool new BeepEgg is an innovative egg-shaped timer that boils right along with the rest of your eggs and then beeps and plays three different songs to indicate when they've become perfectly soft-boiled, medium-boiled, and hard-boiled. First, store the BeepEgg with the rest of your real eggs in the fridge so it starts off at the same temperature, then simply place it with your eggs in a pot of water, and turn on the stove. As the water heats up, it constantly measures the outer temperature to calculate the core temperature of the eggs and then either beeps or plays tunes to let you know the progress. For example:

  • 1st Beep: Water temperature has reached 113 ° Fahrenheit
  • 2nd Beep: Water has started to boil
  • 1st Tune: Oh Susanna - Soft-Boiled
  • 2nd Tune: Take me out to the Ballgame - Medium-Soft-Boiled
  • 3rd Tune: Hail, Hail the Gang's all Here - Hard-Boiled
