The cool new Kuhn Rikon Universal Smart Lid is an innovative lid with an auto-release steam valve allowing you to pan-fry, steam, braise, simmer, and sauté with ease. It features a stepped silicone gasket that forms a tight seal on almost any pot or pan from 9" to slightly over 11" in diameter, a tempered glass center to monitor foods as they cook, and a dual-function valve that can release steam or seal it in. Best of all, now you only need one lid. Great solution.
