I love the AeroGarden! It's cool being able to hydroponically grow chili peppers, cherry tomatoes, herbs and more indoors without soil and without all the mess and hassles of a regular garden. There is a new competitor emerging with a similar hydroponic gardening system, but this one lets you use any seed you want.

The Prepara Power Plant Professional quickly and easily grows fresh herbs, veggies, fruits, plants and flowers hydroponically without dirt. Simply add any seed of your choice to each of the six grow pods and after planting, it automatically dispenses and bathes the roots of each plant in water mixed with super-oxygenated nutrients and rotates the pods so that each plant gets an equal amount of natural sunlight. If all goes correctly, your seeds will sprout quickly in just 4 or 5 days. The compact size, ease of use, lack of mess, sleek design and speed of growth makes this a great addition to your kitchen or a great gift for those who are green thumb challenged.
