Goal Zero Yeti 1250 - Solar Generator
The cool new GOAL ZERO Yeti 1250 - Solar Generator skips the needs of a noisy, pollution-spewing gasoline generator and simply uses the power of the sun to give you all the electricity you'll need during a power outage, while camping or tailgating, or just anytime you need some free, silent and zero-emmission energy.
Just place the two included 30-watt monocrystalline solar panels (up to 8 supported) out in direct sunlight to charge up the 1250-watt battery generator to full capacity in only 20 hours. Once charged, it can power a refrigerator for up to four days, a television for 35 hours, or a laptop for up to 30 hours with ease. It's unique design allows it to be used indoors while the solar panels are collecting the sunlight outdoors and if the power is already on, it can even be recharged via AC in only 16 hours, so it's ready go when the inevitable power failure happens.
Of course, it's not ideal if the battery is completely drained and there's no sun available, but it's definitely a great solution to have around for most energy-requiring situations. Check out the video below to see it in action!
