We may live in an out-of-control digital world, but there's still something fascinating about an old-fashioned clock and all its intricate inner workings. Well, as much as I would love to own a massive grandfather clock and listen as it tick-tocked and chimed away my existence, I just don't have the space. On the other hand, this cool new Grandfather Slice Clock by designer Rob Price is an interesting compromise.

This modern take on the classic grandfather clock is a literal slice of the traditional. It retains the same elegant design of a grandfather clock, but only requires a mere fraction of the space. It's made from wood with a deep walnut satin finish and features metal hands and a Plexiglass face. It's witty, humorous and luxuriously stylish all at the same time.
