Ever tried growing an avocado tree using the seed suspended with toothpicks over a glass of water? It usually never turns out well, at least for me, but the cool new AvoSeedo aims to up the germination success rate in the easiest way possible. This unique avocado seed boat floats the seed on top of the water, helping to ensure that it is always in contact with the water even as it evaporates down. Just slice open an avocado, pluck out the big seed inside, insert it with the flat side facing down, and float it on a glass or bowl of water for a few weeks until it sprouts. That's it. I'm not sure what happens next because I've never actually gotten that far before.
