3D Optical Illusion Spiral Bulb LED Lamp

The cool new Spiral Bulbing Lamp from designer Nir Chehanowski may look like an illuminated 3D spiraling sculpture, but it's actually just a very clever and super flat optical illusion. This faux dimensional lamp is simply an acrylic sheet with dozens of laser engraved lines that when lit up from the LED in the wooden base below tricks the mind into seeing 3D spirals when it is very much just 2D. It's still magical to look at though. See the video below to see it and other designs in action.
