When I talk on the phone I usually pace back and forth around my office, for some reason I just cannot sit still and chat at the same time. Sure, I may actually be getting a bit of exercise walking around, but I could also be learning an incredible new skill... yep, tightrope walking AKA Funambulism!

The cool new Funambulist Trainer allows you to practice the art of tightrope walking right in your very own home or office. This 10 foot long sturdy high-grade steel trainer teaches you concentration, balance and coordination skills while you try to walk the stretched taut tightrope 11 inches above the ground. Simply start on one platform and try to traverse across to the other side without falling. With enough practice you'll be able to quit your day job and start performing incredible high wire circus acts in no time.

I swear I am so tempted to get one of these things just to see if I can do it, but I wish the height could be adjusted to really test my skills and my fears. Check out the video below to see one of the best natural Funambulist professionals in action, his amazing skill is almost scary.

We own one and we have tons of fun with it. Our kids ages 6 and 8 love it. However, it takes practice to master the skill. We took it to our block party and the whole neighborhood enjoyed it.

Hammacher's website lists them as 'temporarily out of stock', however when I contacted customer service, I was informed that they will no longer be carrying them. I've searched, but no luck... anyone know of an alternate vendor? please?

If you\'re into training for balance and core strength building check out a Freeflow Line. It\'s a \"tightrope\" of sorts. Cool stuff, way fun!
