This summer, would you like to be able to enjoy fresh sweet corn right off the cob? The cool new stainless steel Corn Zipper ($13) uses sharp teeth to safely and easily strip the kernals, two rows at a time, from the corn cob in one stroke. I'm hungry and feel like throwing a few ears of sweet corn on the grill right now!   -  ( 2 Comments )

don't do it! I tried this exact corn zipper thinking it looked great, you should see the hole healing as we speak in my finger. It's not pretty. It however very very sharp and when it works it does zip the corn no doubt but if it is only slightly crooked on the ear it sticks and pulls then you pull and then you wonder if you need stitches. Sorry.
