I remember the pics from the 10 million candlepower flash light on this site, but now 15 million?!

I should just buy two of these and use them together for a 30 million candlepower flashlight.

Awesome.

These would have come in handy in New Orleans during the floods, just shine your spotlight from your roof to flag down rescue helicopters.

So many “possibilities” for this thing. Now if I were to buy 3 I could set up a hollywood spotlight on my roof.

As nice as the light may be, it’s nowhere near the sheer light output of a lighthouse. Additionally, candlepower is a misleading ‘measurement’. These spotlights are nowhere near 15 million candlepower. A normal 60 watt household lamp alone produces over 900 lumens, often more. To say that this spot produces the equivalent of 150 60 watt bulbs is laughable. It’s using an 80 watt H4 Halogen for pete’s sake—a generous estimate of total light output for an 80w halogen would sit around 1500 lumens. A 35w HID produces more light than this. In total output, so would two 60w household bulbs. The only difference is how focused the output is. Buy the light, you might love it. I have my own 50w halogen spotlight that I love, but let’s quit with the ridiculous claims.

I don’t know about all the scientific spec breakdowns, but I own this spotlight and it is the brightest thing flashlight I have ever seen. I can light up an entire street, an entire room, or shine it into the sky at night with a giant viewable beam. Plus don’t stand in front of it, it gets really hot!!!

I would totally recommend it if you are looking for something like this or just want to impress your friends or neighbors when you shine it in their windows.

I have the Cyclops version, bought it a couple months ago. It takes a 12 volt motorcycle battery and H-4 bulb. Incredibly bright and hot. If you like a really bright flashlight, this is the brightest. On the downside, it only lasts about an hour before it needs recharged when using high beam. Well worth the money.
