After smartphones debuted and more or less brought all culture and innovation to a screeching halt, retro analog devices and media began to re-emerge and become popular once again. Vinyl records, cassette tapes, and VHS are making a huge comeback and I'm pretty sure rotary phones, CB radios, tv antennas, and pagers / flip phones are already in the pipeline. Even movies are now all set in the 80s because smartphones ruin all modern plots. So after retro vinyl and before the return of compact discs, we once again get the almighty 1980s boombox with this cool new GPO Brooklyn.

This retro-inspired silver boombox cassette player / old fashioned radio maintains the iconic 1980s style yet adds additional 21st century features like CD, Bluetooth, and USB. Not only can you finally make mix tapes once again, you can also record backups of your analog media onto USB as well. It features two 40 watt speakers, a rechargeable lithium battery rather than 8 D batteries, RCA input, 3.5mm AUX in, top loading CD player, twin antennas, USB playback, precision volume, balance, bass, and treble controls, actual knobs and switches, LED equalizer, and so much more. All it's missing is the little black and white TV some of the coolest boomboxes used to have. Anyways, once you place this on your buddy's shoulder and crank it up, you'll be having a breakdance dance off battle with your rivals in no time.
