Amphibious Sub-Surface Watercraft
The cool new MSVEX MKIII Bigfoot Amphibian from MSV Explorer is an amphibious sub-surface electric watercraft designed to go from land to sea with a buoyant above-water upper hull and an underwater observation cockpit below. It's perfect for observing marine life, filming documentaries and movies, search and rescue operations, surveying, or just leisurely exploring the immediate depths of lakes, oceans, lagoons, and more. It uses heavy-duty rubber tracks to easily drive it from the land or boat ramp directly into the water and then it becomes a hybrid boat / submersible watercraft that maneuvers through the water at up to 6 knots forward / 4 knots backward with full 360º turns using two horizontally oriented underwater thrusters powered by two 24-volt lithium battery banks. At full charge, it can operate for up to 110 hours on the water or up to 8 hours on land. Check out the video below to see it in action. Cool huh?
