When you combine a hovercraft, an airplane and around $190,000, you get something incredible like this cool new Hoverwing - Flying Hovercraft from Universal Hovercraft. This extreme hovercraft not only glides over various terrains like and and water with ease, it can also take to the air using its integrated wings to soar over water at speeds around 70 mph with a cruising altitute of 2-6 feet or even up to 20 feet if you need to clear an obstacle like a non-flying hovercraft. It features 130-hp twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled and turbo-charged gasoline engine, a 60" wood/carbon composite thrust propeller, a 1,100-rpm 34" lift fan, and a durable, vinyl-coated nylon skirt for hovering above the ground. No pilot's license is required, because technically it's just a boat that happens to take flight. Check out the video below to see it in action!
