Sous Vide cooking completely redefines the idea of slow cooking. When you cook Sous Vide, you slowly heat vacuum-sealed food in water at low temperatures for hours, even days for precision results. Well, with the cool new SousVide Supreme Water Oven you no longer need to be a professional chef to cook in this new style. It's the world's first water oven for the home that cooks almost anything to perfection with restaurant-quality results.
It's beyond simple to cook with the SousVide Supreme, just season, seal, simmer and serve. After seasoning or marinating your favorite fish, meat, poultry or vegetables, seal it all up using any food-grade vacuum sealer, add to the water oven and it will circulate water around the sealed food and precisely regulate everything to keep the water temperature within one degree of accuracy. The end result is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional cooking methods that locks in natural juices, nutrients and flavors typically lost with other methods to enhance the taste and aroma of food with little added seasoning. Best of all, there's barely any cleanup, just drain the water and wipe clean!
I've never actually tried this, but the method and technology sound interesting. It's definitely a fun and easy new way of cooking, especially if you find cooking too hard, but unfortunately you'll also need to have enough room for one more kitchen appliance.
