The cool new Primula Speak n' Brew is one of the word's first talking coffee makers. Instead of messing around with buttons or complicated menus, it has an advanced voice recognition system that operates in response to your verbal commands. Simply press the Talk button and say, "Set the coffee brewing time" or "Set the clock" and it will reply to you and then comply. This chatty 10 cup coffee brewer also features a sleek stainless steel housing, pause and serve functionality, an LCD screen and a removable filter. If you develop laryngitis or something, no worries, it has a manual one-touch brew start just in case. I love the idea of helpful, talking appliances, but I hope future versions can pour me a cup and actually bring it to me when I scream at it from across the house.
