When it comes to drinking water, everyone lately has become obsessed with absolute water purity. What about the water you actually bathe in and the hot steam you breathe in during a shower? The Wellness Shower Filter is a cool long-lasting filter for your shower that not only removes chlorine (chlorine is a vapor and you breathe it in during a hot steaming shower!), bacteria, cysts, heavy metals, sediment, many chemicals and other impurities from the water supply, it also increases the dissolved oxygen, re-ionizes it for an enhanced antioxidant effect and adds healthy, trace amounts of silica, potassium and magnesium for healthier skin and hair too. I would feel much better knowing that all that added chlorine from the municipal water supply is being removed along with anything else that makes it into the stream and if I had a private well, I would have this installed in a heartbeat. Do you actually trust your water supply? I do -- hmm, no actually I don't.

Check out the video below for more information. It's creepy and soothing at the same time.

I love the idea of using a shower filter, but wow, $249 seems like a lot to pay. That is about four times more expensive than other shower filters I've seen. Here's a good site that compares some of the top brands of shower filters http://www.waterfiltercomparisons.com/SFC.cfm

Even though it is more expensive, it actually lasts for 2-3 years compared with a much shorter life of regular filters. Also, it doens't just filter like the others - it actually improves the water with ions and minerals to make it antibacterial and more hydrating.

Worth every penny...and it's actually just $189 now. I bought one of these and haven't had dry or itchy skin since. I've used other filters for my shower before but never had any results nearly as good as this one provides. It costs less in the long run then other shower systems too since you don't have to change the cartridge as often. 18-24 months is how long it's NSF certified to last for. Now taking showers is something I look forward to.

I agree with Paul. Even at $189, it seems a bit expensive. You can get more or less the same thing for less than $70 here: http://www.ambrosiawaterfilters.com/aquasana-aq4100-shower-water-filter.html

I have never heard of a shower filter yet. This makes sense if there are truly noxious emissions from the water. I don\'t want to think I\'ve been damaging my lungs with all the showers I\'ve taken so far in my life. Yiksey.
