While it may look like a normal pillar candle complete with a wax exterior and a real flame flickering on top, this innovative one can also be remote-controlled to either ignite or snuff out, can be set to automatically set to turn off after 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours, and self-extinguishes when it tilts, falls, or is touched on top. It includes 2 liquid-wax cartridges that burn cleanly for up to 50 hours a piece and the built-in rechargeable battery lasts between 3-5 months on a single charge.
