Smittens - Romantic Mittens For Holding Hands

If you plan on taking an outdoor stroll with your sweetheart on Valentine's Day or anytime this cold winter season, now you can walk hand-in-hand with these romantic new Smittens. These innovative handmade mittens are built for two people to hold hands inside of one mitten by knitwear designer Wendy Feller in Seattle. The set includes two single mittens and one tandem Smitten that are made from recycled polar fleece and are available in either red or navy blue.

Cool idea, but are there any couples out there actually willing to wear these? Let us know in the Comments.

I would wear them, I just wouldn't pay $35 to do so.

I guess you could hold your own hand if you're single :(

Wow, that hair on the woman in the "polaroid" above using the Smittens - it's awful. It's like someone dropped a backwards mullet on her. Will that happen to my wife's hair if we buy these? Maybe we should avoid the Smittens and get a pair of G-Loves.

Very cute; I would definitely get this. My love and I argue about gloves a lot in cold weather; he wants to hold my bare hand but I have bad circulation and wear gloves. :D this would work so well for us.

I would definitely try to convince her to wear it with me, but not for $35. Maybe $25. We do often have the problem of it being too cold to hold hands, and my pocket is not the most comfortable place.

Oh god. A gym teacher at my school bought one of those for my girlfriend, fortunately i had broken up with her a few days earlier and dodged that bullet. Thank you karma!

I love holding hands with my man. But think this would get kinda sweaty after a few minutes. I mean you also need to pull your hand away every once in a while to help steady yourself in the snow and such. Dunno...cute but not practical. Def an impulse buy if you ask me. Yes, and that's coming from a woman!!

people, people, the only proper thing to say whilst wearing these mittens:
"I think I'm in glove with you."

A little ridiculous in price, I agree. But despite my initial reluctance, I'm big on the hand holding, and my boyfriend and I take a lot of walks through the MetroParks in NE Ohio, even in cooler weather. For that much money, I think I'd rather buy regular mittens and sew two together.
