It's almost impossible to get any work done on the computer when there is a cat around. If they aren't trying to chase the cursor on the screen, cat-typing or laying on the keyboard, they are rummaging through papers and dunking their tail in your coffee. Well I've had enough of this feline fun, I'm getting a Kit-In Box - Desktop Cat Bed ($70).

This cool and very stylish cat lounger is constructed of solid pine wood and is available stained in Birch, Cherry or Mahogany finishes to match your decor. Simply clamp it the side of your desk and it gives your cat a place to sleep on the desk, but off the desk at the same time. It supports fat cats and small dogs up to 20 lbs, rotates for multiple positions and features a machine washable cover. It's a great solution if the cat actually decides to sit still and sleep for once. If anything it'll be so pre-occupied with the box it came in, that you can finally get some work done.   -  1 Comment Tweet This on Twitter Share on FaceBook

Great idea, but I think for most cats to be interested in this, you would first have to appear to be using it for "important" papers and treat it like a part of your working space.
Otherwise they will not have anything to do with it.
If they know you paid money for it and put it there just for them to be Out Of The Way....forget it.
It's related to that cat attitude, "Why touch the kitty bed "Mom" Bought me, when I can sleep in this cozy paper grocery bag ?"
