I\'m the drummer from Silent Auction (silentpro.com) and I have to say as far as for electronic drumsets like roland these sticks are awesome. Wood sticks and sticks with plastic tips are too heavy on the drum heads as well as beat the crap out of your hands. These sticks may not be good for you regular set as they are lighter, but since they are made of ballistic plastic you can hammer away on your electronics set as much as you like. Be hand with a soldering iron though as sometimes the battery contact can come unsoldered. All in all a AAA+++ rating. I used mine about a year before I finally snapped one.
