Here we go again, another out of control discussion about candlepower vs lumens vs cock size! lol

These kinds of flashlights are causing global warming.
When will there ever be enough light for you people?
by Guest on July 11, 2007 5:58 pm
At least you can plug it to run it too, because the batteries would run out too fast.
by Guest on July 11, 2007 6:10 pm
If you set it up in your neighbor's backyard and point it straight up at the clouds, it would attract every single flying insect & pest in town! And curious people!

Sing it Sister!... BAT SIGNAL!
by BaboonKiller on July 12, 2007 5:37 pm
I'm totally down with the Bat Signal notion! Why hasn't anyone actually come up with a decent functioning prop for this instead of that cheesy one from DC Direct?
by Guest on July 12, 2007 11:25 pm
This may be a dumb question, but is there any advantage/ disadvantage to having 2 bulbs instead of one in a spotlight? It seems like 1 bulb at say 18 million candle power would be brighter than 2 at 10 million. Any responses would be helpful.
by Guest on July 13, 2007 2:59 am
If you only had 3 of these, it would be around 60 million candlepower and the power of the light would cause the dead to rise and seek you out!

And yes a Batman Signal with this would rock!

When you @#$% up and the police helicopter is hovering over your house with the spotlight on, you can return the light with this thing, blind them and watch them crash.

I have one of the 15 million candlepower ones. One time I was camping and a bunch of us got drunk. So I decided to cut out a bat from the side of an empty beer box and duct tape it to the lense. It didn't really project a bat onto anything. The aluminum dish behind the bulb distorts the image. But it sure was fun doing it.

hmmm bat-experiment time

TO EVERYONE who says stuff like 'how much light do you need' - what are you doing on this website? Nearly the ENTIRE site is filled with stuff like this: at least this product has SOME use (as opposed to a salt & pepper shaker made out of human bones, or the like...)

I HAVE one of these lights - the advantage with 2 bulbs (obviously) is that you can use only 1 if you don't 'need' full power. Even using just 1 bulb on this thing produces a boatload of light (like the analogy?) On FULL POWER it is not only DEEP, but WIDE. I have a big lawn, then woods - this thing lights up the woods for about 50 yards wide, and 100 yards deep - that's if I stand 50 yards back from where the woods begin. Also - it seems to last quite a while on one charge. I haven't run it down, but I've used it 4 times on one charge - each time leaving it on for about 5 minutes. Price was right, or I wouldn't have purchased it...

I bought a similar light in 2006 with 15 million c/p, However i took it to my country bangladesh. I could use only for two days and after that it died. it was probably because these light are not 220 compitable so I could not chage it anymore. Eventhough i tried to chage, it destroyed my battery.
by Guest on April 30, 2008 11:37 pm
when are they going to make it 110 and 220 both so people can use it in other countries.
