I love weird plants for my desk at the office. I have plants that grow bananas, plants that bite, plants that hatch from eggs, plants that grow upside-down and even plants that cannot be killed! However, I have never seen Plants in Cans.

You need to head on over to Branch: Sustainable Design for Living to discover these cool little mini desktop gardens that grow from aluminum cans. They offer 4 different varieties including Christmas trees in cans and clovers in a cans, but I think my favorite is either the cactus in a can or the bonsai in a can too. When your plant in a can gets too big, simply upgrade it to a larger pot. Weird, but definitely cool and would make terrific gifts.
