The Pin Clock

The plastic front is kinda brittle but overall pretty awesome

Using pins to render digits is a great plus for the design and that’s why people are buying this. But it only shows time. No other functions, e.g. alarm, radio, date, etc. Well, this is at least $70 on the internet. Without any such basic functionality, it’s too expensive. Why the manufacturer didn’t put such simple thing to this awesome looking clock? In Japan, at a large department store, e.g. Mitsukoshi or Marui, the price is 10000 Yen + tax, which is more than $100.00 so it’s very expensive.
