This is the weirdest kitchen gadget I've see in awhile. The Al Dente Singing Pasta Timer is a little red plastic man in a suit that you drop into your pot while boiling your pasta. After a certain number of minutes passes he will sing songs. For example, after 7 minutes it's "The Triumphal March" from Aida, after 9 minutes it's "The Chorus of Hebrew Slaves" from Nabucco and after 11 minutes it's "La Donna e Movile" from Rigoletto. So depending on how long you want your pasta cooked, let Al Dente be your personal underwater singing assistant. I wonder what he sounds like underwater though? Weird.
