I don't what it is about the pineapple, but they are extremely cool as far as fruits go and now they are even more cool as Wicker Pineapple Storage Baskets / Hampers. I guess if you need some type of wicker storage basket or a really unique hamper for your dirty clothes, it might as well be shaped like a giant pineapple!

Pineapples always look so tropically delicious in the store, until you get it home and realize how much work it really is to remove that tough outer shell. Simply cut off the top of the pineapple and twist the Pineapple Easy Slicer clockwise like a corkscrew. One turn per pineapple slice or do the whole pineapple. Next, just lift up and the pineapple flesh will be free of the shell, already sliced into rings and cored. Plus you can then use the pineapple shell as a serving bowl or for a tropical drink.
